'Tis the Season to Save

Yesterday I shared a couple of budget-friendly buys in the earring and cosmetic department. I'm branching out a little today and sharing some great priced bags, shoes, and sunglasses. I know most of you have people to shop for this season, but these finds are too great to pass up for yourself. I feel like if you shop smart, you can still add a few things here and there to your wardrobe without breaking the bank.

I tried to find bags in the $40 and under department. I was pleasantly surprised to find some for under $10!

I've never let myself pay more than $20 for a pair of sunglasses. I've lost a few over the years and have had some broken thanks to my sons. With cute sunglasses for $6 and $7, how can I go wrong?

I'm not a big fan of boots in the winter (I will wear them) because heels are my absolute favorite. However, being 27 weeks pregnant, I have been wearing flats a bit more because it's just easier.

New in - Friis & Company ballerinas

 I'm the queen of ballerinas. I wear ballerinas every day and even when it's still snowing or raining I have to wear ballerinas, so when I found these studded beauties today I had to take them home. They were even reduced to under half the prize. YEAY! I think I'll do a post soon about all my ballerina shoes, if you'd like me to? I love that ballerinas are comftable and yet chic. I always feel too dressed up, when wearing heels even though I LOVE heels too. -I just almost never wear them...

Kanye West Giuseppe Zanotti is how much??

Kanye West has teamed up with Giuseppe Zanotti on the design of these two pair of shoes. I find them absolutely beautiful, but the prizetag not so much... At $5,800 I think these beauties are too expensive for most people. So will they be a success?

As for these black strappy ones you have to pay $930. They are cool, but not as special as the first pair.

I saved the stiletto sandal (my favorite) for the last segment in my series. These sandals pump up the girly factor simply by adding a tall heel. Try one on. You may find that it changes the way you feel and the way you walk. No, I am not talking about changing the way you walk by stumbling around (although that might occur if you don't have practice wearing a heel). I'm talking about the confidence that comes with knowing that you look good. THAT changes the way you walk! You can be sure that you will never feel frumpy when wearing one of these sandals. You can't help but look elegant and chic. Perhaps that is why sandals with heels are my favorite. As a busy mom of two, I like to be reassured that I still look good. No frumpy mama over here! Of course, pushing a baby around in a stroller wearing five inch heels is not exactly practical, but that has never stopped me!

Flat Sandals - Part Two of Three

Who says that flat sandals have to be boring? The very first sandal pictured (my favorite) is proof that flat sandals can pack as much punch as their heeled counterparts. Just add color and good design and you can be sure you will be comfortably chic.

Flat sandals are great for a picnic in the park. They are also great for chasing kids at the park. (Don't wear a four inch wedge to the park with a toddler...trust me). Flat sandals are also a great way to be stylish when you know you will be on your feet most of the day. I am headed to Vegas in April and you can bet (no pun intended) that I will hit the pavement on the strip in cute flats.

Bridal shoes - highs and lows

 There is still about 10 months till my wedding, but I'm constantly looking at shoes, dresses etc. for the big day. I stumbled over these Miu Miu sandals with a beautiful jeweled heel, They look amazing!

I was also looking at Riverisland.com and saw a similar style shoe, also with embellishment on the heel. They are £75. See a 360 view here

Spiked heels
