Essie wedding collection 2012

Essie nailpolishes are some of my favorites. I love the colors and the cute names. This years wedding collection from Essie consists of 4 colors, Instant Hot, Like to be bad, Love and Acceptance and Who Is The Boss. I've tried Instant Hot and Love and Acceptance and I really love these two colors. The white rose one is called Instant Hot and has a slight shimmer to it. This might be the color I'll wear on my wedding day.
Love and Acceptance is a creamy, dusty lilac that is very pretty for spring. This color would look beautiful on a bride too or at the bridemaides. I only put on two coats of each color and that's all you need with these.

How do you feel about these colors from Essie?

Minty Fresh

Mint

I recently bought this skirt in mint from Tobi. I fell in love with the color and it got me looking for other mint-colored clothing. I didn't have to look far! Not only are bold colors in style but pastels are pushing their way to the forefront of the color trend. If bold colors are too, well, bold for you, then try going the pastel route. If you are concerned about looking like an Easter egg then go the minimalist route. A soft colored pair of earrings or nail polish are the perfect way to embrace the trend.

I can't wait to show you guys ('y'all' for my southern readers) my skirt and how I will style it. My husband and I just ordered a brand new camera (at the recommendation of my friend Lizzie who is a fantastic photographer) in the hopes that I can start taking more wardrobe pictures.

Hopefully this weekend I will have the camera and finally be over this horrible sickness. (I just got back from the doctor and found out I have strep throat).

Hope you guys are having a fabulous Tuesday!

Essie spring 2012

Essie is one of my favorite brands in nailpolish. They do great colors. These are the new spring 2012 colors. I really love the coral -red and the pale peach pink one. The rest aren't really to my liking.

Essie fall 2011

This is my favorite Essie collection yet. The fall collection from Essie is called Brand New Bag and based on the philosophy of Essie Weingarten, founder of Essie Cosmetics, who believes that our accessories reveal much about us. The decadent choices are a recollection of the graceful styles from the 1940’s and 1950’s returning to classic sophistication and to ladylike glamour. I'm loving each color and can't wait to get my hands on these. They are due in August. Which is your favorite?
